Platinum and Diamond Members Web Space and E-Mail Addresses

To set up your e-mail address on Outlook Express, Windows Mail in Vistam, or similar e-mail client:

username: name@greatleague.us
password: your league password
incoming/outgoing mail servers: mail.greatleague.us
set up as pop3 and your "name" is your league username

To access your web space (using ftp client such as BulletProof FTP or WS_FTP):

server: ftp.greatleague.us
username: name@greatleague.us
password: your league password

Note: if you have a period or underscore in your username before the @ sign, substitute a dash for that character in your ftp username.

Web space may be used to host all formats of graphics files (except .bmp) and any html files or cgi or java scripts. Sound files can not be hosted since they are large in size and eat a LOT of bandwidth. We recommend using a free web hosting account via 250free.com to host sound files since they offer you 250 mb of free space and allow you to remotely link sound files.

Some may get this error:

The fix for it -

You are on a an ISP that blocks their users from using any SMTP server other than their own. Your solution is as follows:

1. To setup your ISP's SMTP servers for your outgoing email, you must click on your account settings in the email client you are using.

2. In the SMTP (outgoing mail server) field, you will enter the SMTP server address for your ISP, such as smtp.yourisp.com. You must then enter the username and password for your ISPs mail server.

3. In Outlook Express, this is at the bottom of that same tab. You must uncheck My server requires authentication and click on Settings to enter the username and password for your ISP.

Your email will still be from your own domain name, the only difference is in the way it is routed throughout the internet. Instead of being sent through our servers, it is processed through your ISP. This allows your ISP to monitor your email in case of a spam complaint.
